Abstract
The Human Development Index (HDI) serves as a crucial benchmark for
gauging the efficacy of endeavors aimed at enhancing the quality of human life. It is envisaged that individuals can assume an active role in HDI development, thereby contributing to regional progress. Several factors, including the average length of schooling and the open unemployment rate, influence HDI. This research seeks to ascertain the impact of the average length of schooling and the open unemployment rate on the Human
Development Index in Lampung Province in 2023. The methodology employed in this research is the multiple linear regression analysis method. The research findings indicate that the average length of schooling significantly influences the Human Development Index in Lampung Province in 2023.
